The goal of the survey was to get an overview of socioeconomic factors in the region, of current land use habits, to analyze the impact of community conservation programs on environmental income, to identify shocks and threats affecting people and land, and much more. Using the obtained data will facilitate studies that help in identifying influences of conservation. Within this survey report, we display some quantitative results, which are interesting and useful for a broad audience – especially to the people of the Zambezi Region of Namibia. |
