| Description: | Abstract: MSc thesis of Jasmin Frietsch on ethnobotanical research conducted in Namibia's Zambezi Region in 2018. The ecosystem services that local communities derive from trees were assessed by a semi-structured questionnaire conducted with 60 interviewees. From this data species-specific use values were calculated. Main use categories identified were fuelwood, construction material, and medicine. Cluster analyses revealed interesting results in regard to species clusters and interviewee clustering. |
